Afechadura de segurança "PACKAGE " para janelas e portas de varanda funciona como uma protecção adicional contra abertura não desejada ou não autorizada.
The SECURITY LOCK for WINDOWS AND BALCONY DOORS acts as an additional protection against unwanted or unauthorized opening of the window.
It can be used as a child safety lock, as well as for schools, kindergartens, clinics, nursing homes, etc.
The locking lock can be used for all plastic and EURO windows available on the market. It does not depend on the brand of the window or the fittings.
In most cases, these locks can also be used for older types of wooden windows ("panel windows"). For these windows, it is one of the few possible ways of security.
When replacing windows, you will not lose your investment - you can dismantle the window lock and conveniently use it for new windows.
The entire construction of the window lock is made of durable metal and thus ensures a high degree of security.
One key can be used for all locks.
The installation of the lock is very simple and does not require any special skills or the help of a professional.
The lock only blocks the opening of the window, but the ventilation position can be used without any restrictions.
Installation instructions:
The SECURITY LOCK FOR WINDOWS AND BALCONY DOORS is a simple mechanism consisting of three parts:
the basic part of the lock with cylinder and key (fig 1-A);
the lock counterpart (Fig. 3-C);
lock washer (to be installed depending on the window profile) (Fig. 3-B).
The set also includes: 1 special key; 4 self-tapping screws 3.9x45 mm and 1 pencil for marking the holes in the frame
First, the base part of the lock (1) is installed in the bottom of the window sash (the opening part of the window) on the opposite side to the hinges (fig.1-B).
It is fixed with the window open using two 3.9x45mm universal screws (fig.1-C) through specially milled holes in the base part of the lock (see diagram in fig.1). Care must be taken to install the lock base so that the recessed screw hole faces downwards.
Once the base part of the lock has been attached to the window sash, close the window and mark the points for fixing the lock bolt through the longitudinal holes in the base part of the lock (Fig.2-A) on the frame with a pencil (Fig.2-B) (see diagram in Fig.2).
Then open the window and fix the counterpart (fig.3-C) with two universal screws 3.9x45mm (fig.H-D) to the marked points (fig.H-A) directly on the window frame (see diagram in fig.3). The lock counterpart has a symmetrical shape, so that its rotation does not matter.
Depending on the profile of the window (plastic or wooden), place a washer between the frame and the lock counterpart (fig.3-B).
This makes the lock ready for use. When the window is closed by pressing the sash against the frame, the two parts of the lock snap together and when the key is turned, the lock is locked. In this way the window cannot be opened in the horizontal direction and yet this does not prevent it from being opened in ventilation mode.
