Set of 8 wooden mounting wedges
Wooden wedges are indispensable helpers when installing windows and doors!
Our wooden mounting wedges have the following dimensions: 15 cm x 2,5 cm x 2,5 cm - 0,1 cm.
Thewooden mounting wedges are mainly used for aligning window and door frames in the opening in all axes.
Thewooden wedges are also used for temporary fixing of the assembled window and door elements.
Thewooden wedges must not be left in the connecting joint after fastening and must be removed! If the wedges were left under the window, it would not be possible to install a vapour barrier or vapour permeable tape and often the sill could not be fitted.
On the other hand, the plastic pads remain under the window frame to prevent the window from unintentionally moving when the wedges are removed from the joint.
The wooden mounting wedges are used when fitting windows and metal structures.
Unlike plasticwedges, wooden wedges do not slip out of the joint and hold better in the joint.
Thewooden wedge soaks up water immediately after seating and thus speeds up and strengthens the fixation.
The wedges are made of spruce wood.
The wooden mounting wedges can also be used for other craft work.
